This killer STRINGTOWN came from Hardin Co Ohio and was part of the Gilbert Cooper Collection. Stringtowns have been compared to Cody Complex artifacts found out west and are very similar to the Eden culture types. It comes with a Dwain Rogers Certificate of Authenticity. It is obviously authentic and shows nice use with great patination. It is made from beautiful dark chert. It has great edge work and an excellent form overall. There is no modern damage. This is a well crafted Stringtown point made from a beautiful material and it will definitely make an awesome addition to any authentic collection. Stringtown projectiles are Transitional Paleo in age, making this 8,000 to 9,000 years old!
