This fantastic SLOAN DALTON was found by Rick Stevens in Clay Co Arkansas. It was part of his collection for a time, as well as the John Paul Jones, Kevin Farmer, and Chan Northrip Collections. It comes with a Ken Partain Certificate of Authenticity. The material is a fantastic piece of Crowley's Ridge Cobble / Bailey chert. It has a great form overall and shows excellent flaking. Dalton points are Transitional Paleo in age, ranging from 7,500 to 10,000 years old! Any relic this ancient and having such a long collector's history is a must have for any true authentic artifact collector! This relic was nice enough to be put in our Web Museum where it will be displayed for the foreseeable future. We did this as a way to preserve the history of this artifact and create an accurate provenance for the artifact you purchased.
