This fantastic, large RAMEY KNIFE came from St Clair Co Illinois and is obviously authentic. It shows nice use and is heavily patinated with raised mineral deposits. It is made from a beautiful material that appears to be Mill Creek. It has great overall polish and there is no modern damage. Ramey knives are Mississippian in age, ranging from 700 to 1,500 years old. They are likely associated directly with the Cahokia complex and are rare and very collectible. Don't miss out on this killer knife!
