This very cool WADLOW came from Boone Co Missouri and is made from a fantastic local material with numerous raised mineral deposits throughout the point. Wadlow points are Middle to Late Archaic in age, ranging from 2,500 to 4,000 years old. Judging from the thinness and shape I would suggest this is a preform for a Chesterfield point. Chesterfield's are very collectible and not even common in the areas they are known to be found. They are highly sought after by Midwest collectors.
