This heavily patinated SEDALIA came from Pettis Co Missouri and shows nice use with numerous raised mineral deposits throughout the point. It is made from a nice piece of Burlington chert. Sedalia points are Late Archaic in age, ranging from 3,000 to 4,000 years old. This is a nice sized authentic example that I have no doubt will make an excellent addition to any authentic collection. This one is quite thin for its length and very well made for the type. Large points like this are hard to come by with this much patination and mineralization.
