This really nice PINE TREE came from Boyd Co Kentucky and was part of the Kenneth Young Collection as well as the Charles Goodman Collection. It comes with a Dwain Rogers Certificate of Authenticity. Dwain papered this as a Kirk point, but due to the heavy basal grinding we believe this is more likely a Pine Tree. It is obviously authentic and shows nice raised mineral deposits with excellent overall patination. It is made from a fantastic yellow tan material. It has a killer needle tip and great serrated edge work. There is heavy use wear in the notches. There is no modern damage. Pine Tree points are Early Archaic in age, ranging from 8,500 to 9,500 years old! Any point this old, this pretty, and this well made will make an awesome addition to any authentic collection.Size 3.28 inches in length. A7
