This finely made WALLULA GAP came from Oregon and shows great patination. It is made from a beautiful piece of Obsidian. It shows excellent flaking and a great form overall. Wallula Gap points are Developmental to Historic in age, ranging from 200 to 1,000 years old. A well crafted relic like this one is a fine choice for the bird frame or obsidian frame.
 
COLLECTION HISTORY
 
I bought these points from the finders family. They were all collected in the 1940s or before. They were catalogued in 1957 by the original collectors family. Then they were put in storage until last year. At this point, the family contacted me to arrange the sale of the group. This group had some great pieces, including artifacts from seven different states and a few Canadian pieces. The entire collection will be pictured in our Web Museum (The Authentic Arrowhead Store) Collection section. These will be pictured here for the foreseeable future in order to preserve the history of the collection.
