This huge HOPEWELL is a creek find out of Boone Co Missouri and is obviously authentic. It shows nice use and excellent patination. It is made from a beautiful creamy heated chert. It is quite thin for its size and has nice flaking overall. There is no modern damage. Hopewell points are Woodland in age, ranging from 1,500 to 2,500 years old. A piece of this size and color would make a great centerpiece for any frame!
