This really nice HEMPHILL came from Whiteside Co Illinois and is made from a beautiful well patinated material that appears to be Avon chert. It shows excellent serrated edge work and  nice use wear. Hemphill points are Middle to Late Archaic in age, ranging from 5,000 to 7,000 years old! This is a fantastic example and an excellent choice for any Hemphill collectors or anyone looking to add another well crafted Archaic point to their collection!
