This very cool HAW RIVER came out of Medina Co Ohio and shows excellent use with great patination. It is made from a nice local material. It has has great edge work overall and is quite a thin relic. Haw River lanceolates are Transitional Paleo in age, ranging from 8,000 to 10,000 years old! A fantastic ancient artifact like this one would make a great choice for the Paleo frame! These are quite a rare type and very desirable among good collectors. It has great size and is an obviously ancient relic. I have only ever seen 3 examples of this type in private collections. I'm sure there are some out there but they are far from common!
