This fantastic HARDIN came from Adams Co Illinois and comes with a Roy Motley Certificate of Authenticity. The material is a very collectible chert called Payson. It has wonderful beveling and a classic long stem. It has the stem grinding these Early Archaic points are known for. Hardin points are Early Archaic in age, ranging form 7,000 to 10,000 years old! A killer well crafted ancient relic like this on is a must have for Hardin collectors! It seems Payson is one of the better Materials out of Illinois and heavily collected
