This heavily patinated GIBSON came from Randolph Co Missouri and shows nice use with numerous raised mineral deposits throughout the point. It is made from a beautiful heated chert. It is very thin and shows nice edge work. Gibson points are Middle to Late Woodland in age, ranging from 1,500 to 2,000 years old. This is a fantastic example of the type and a must have for any Woodland or Midwestern collections.It is prettier then pictured!
