This spectacular GIBSON came from Boone Co Missouri and is a classic example covered in raised patination. It is made from a beautiful heated piece of Burlington chert. The base on this point is perfect! It shows great edge work and nice use wear. Gibson points are Middle to Late Woodland in age, ranging from 1,500 to 2,000 years old. This one is a must have for the color frame! Or a beautiful addition to add to any Woodland collection!It is nicer in the hand then the pictures would lead you to believe! This one is hard to part with!
