This fantastic CASCADE came from Oregon and shows great patination. It is made from a wonderful piece of Dacite. It shows great edge work and excellent flaking. Cascade points are Early to Middle Archaic in age, ranging from 5,000 to 8,000 years old! This is a super fine artifact that I have no doubt will make an awesome addition to any authentic collection. A killer relic like this one is a must have!
 
COLLECTION HISTORY
 
I bought these points from the finders family. They were all collected in the 1940s or before. They were catalogued in 1957 by the original collectors family. Then they were put in storage until last year. At this point, the family contacted me to arrange the sale of the group. This group had some great pieces, including artifacts from seven different states and a few Canadian pieces.
