This fantastic AFTON came from Western Missouri and shows excellent patination. It is made from a beautiful local material. It has a superb pentagonal tip and great edge work. The pentagonal tip is a function of resharpening by the original Indian maker. Afton points are typically Late Archaic in age, ranging from 3,000 to 5,000 years old. A killer example like this one is a great choice for any collection!
