This excellent CODY KNIFE came from Nebraska and comes with a Roy Motley Certificate of Authenticity. It is obviously authentic and shows nice use with great patination in the form of raised mineral deposits. It is made from a classic piece of Burlington chert. It has a nice form overall and is quite thin. There is no modern damage. Cody knives are made by the Cody Complex people and are Transitional Paleo to Early Archaic in age, ranging from 8,850 to 9,250 years old! This blade will definitely make an excellent addition to any authentic collection. It is a large example of the type!
