This beautiful NORTH BLADE was found by Dale Rutherford in East Central Illinois and comes with a two Certificates of Authenticity: one from Roy Motley / John Leithoff and the other from Ken Partain. This blade was part of Dale Rutherford's collection as well as the Bill Jackson Collection and the Langford Keith Collection. The material is fantastic heat-treated Burlington chert. North Blades were made by the Hopewell culture and are Woodland in age, ranging from 1,500 to 2,500 years old. This blade is much nicer than pictured and will surprise you upon arrival!
