This very nice ETLEY was found by David Menz in St Charles Co Missouri and was part of his collection, as well as Joe Gatz Collection and Chriss Coats-Gatz Collection. It comes with two Certificates of Authenticity: one from Ken Partain and the other from American Artifacts Inc. The material is well patinated Burlington chert with numerous mineral deposits throughout the blade. Etley culture is Late Archaic in age, ranging from 2,500 to 4,000 years old. The tip on this blade is fantastic and with the great collection history this artifact is an excellent choice for any authentic collection.This is very well made for a n Etley!
