This BURKETT came from Jefferson Co Missouri and is made from a nice local piece of Burlington chert. It has an excellent form overall and great edge work. Burkett points are Late Archaic in age, ranging from 2,000 to 2,300 years old. This is a very nice artifact and will look good framed with other Midwestern artifacts.
