This beautiful BONHAM came from Arkansas and shows nice use with great patination. It is made from a fantastic material that appears to be Jasper. It has good edge work and a great tip. Bonham points are Mississippian to Late Prehistoric in age, ranging from 400 to 1,200 years old. A great looking bird point like this one is a great choice for an Arkansas collection.
 
COLLECTION HISTORY
 
I bought these points from the finders family. They were all collected in the 1940s or before. They were catalogued in 1957 by the original collectors family. Then they were put in storage until last year. At this point, the family contacted me to arrange the sale of the group. This group had some great pieces, including artifacts from seven different states and a few Canadian pieces.
