This ALBA came from Arkansas and shows nice use wear overall. It is made from a nice white local chert. It has cool needle tip and nice edge work. Alba points are Mississippian in age, ranging from 800 to 1,200 years old. This is a nice choice for the bird frame!
 
COLLECTION HISTORY
 
I bought these points from the finders family. They were all collected in the 1940s or before. They were catalogued in 1957 by the original collectors family. Then they were put in storage until last year. At this point, the family contacted me to arrange the sale of the group. This group had some great pieces, including artifacts from seven different states and a few Canadian pieces.
