This fantastic large AGATE BASIN was found in Boone Co Missouri and is obviously authentic. It shows nice use and great patination. It is made from a beautiful local material. This is a particularly fine Agate Basin with fine basal grinding and thinning. It shows nice flaking and has good edge work. It is quite thin and has no modern damage. Agate Basin points are Transitional Paleo in age, ranging from 9,350 to 10,550 years old! This well crafted, ancient relic will make an excellent addition to any authentic collection. These are hard to get in this size and quality and are among the most sought after lanceolate forms.
