This heavily patinated AFTON PENTAGONAL came from Western Missouri and is made from a beautiful local material. The pentagonal tip is a function of resharpening by the original Indian maker. Afton points are typically Late Archaic in age, ranging from 3,000 to 5,000 years old. A great looking example like this one will look great framed with others of it's type!
