This is an awesome Taino Ritual Macorix Head. It comes with a Steve Putera Jr. Certificate of Authenticity. It was part of the Sadofsky Collection and the Frank Toplak Estate. It is made from Diorite. It is authentic, as are all of the items we sell here. This is an exceptional relic and extremely well made. This was likely brought into the country in the 1940s through 1950s. It shows excellent mineralization and patination overall. These display very well on a shelf or in a glass case and soon become the focal point of the room.
