This huge BOATSTONE came from the Central United States, likely Illinois or Ohio, and was bought from a collection out of Illinois. It comes with a Roy Motley / John Leithoff Certificate of Authenticity. It is obviously authentic and shows nice use with great patination. It is made from a beautiful polished Limestone and is covered in raised mineral deposits. There is no modern damage. This is a must have for any authentic collection! Finding an authentic Boatstone of this size is very rare! In fact, I have never seen one this large before!
