This outstanding DOVETAIL came from Ohio and is obviously authentic. It shows nice use and patination. It is made from a beautiful piece of Flint Ridge chert. It has an excellent resharpening bevel and fantastic flaking. It has great edge work and no modern damage. This is an excellent Dovetail made from a killer material and it will make an awesome addition to any authentic collection. This point was nice enough to be put in our Web Museum to be displayed for the foreseeable future. Dovetails are Early Archaic and thousands of years old! It is an excellent example of the type.
