This very cool BASAL NOTCH came from Pettis Co Missouri and is obviously authentic. It shows nice use and great patination. It is made from a beautiful creek stained high grade Crescent Quarry Burlington chert. It has great edge work and nice flaking overall. There is no modern damage. This is an excellent Basal Notch point and it will make an awesome addition to any authentic collection. This point was nice enough to be put in our Web Museum to be displayed for the foreseeable future. It is an excellent example of the type.
