This wonderful 3/4 GROOVE AXE came from the George Chadwell Collection out of Decatur Co Indiana outside the town of Greensburg. The collection sold a few months back and a friend of ours got us a group of some of the nicer stuff that made it to the public. This Axe is no brainer authentic. It shows nice use and patination. It is made from a beautiful Hardstone material.This is a highly stylized Axe with a flat top and bottom. It will free stand on a flat surface and shows excellent mineral deposits and a wonderfully upturned bit. The poll end is also highly stylized with virtually no damage. This is a killer Axe by anyones standards and will make an awesome addition to any authentic collection.
